Patsy Jean Morris

Patsy Jean Morris, nee Abram, 80, of Waterloo, passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, June 15, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 14, 1942 in Forrest City, Arkansas to Arlin Woodrow and Johnie Louise (Jordan) Abram. Patsy married Richard E. Morris, Sr. April 9, 1960 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death June 6, 2021. She became a licensed Practical Nurse June 11, 1976 and received her associates of applied science in nursing. She proudly graduated at the top of her class and received her Registered Nursing license in September of 1995. Patsy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, registered nurse, and child of God and was exceptional at all! She was loved by many and will be truly missed.

Survivors include her children, Richard (Gaby) Morris Jr., William Arlin Morris, Margaret Ann Morris Hawk; grandchildren, Scott, Thomas (Mindy) Matthew, Aeron, Robert, Amy and Willy great-grandchildren, Weston, Aloura, Liam, Logan, Russell, Keagan, Brielle and Mariah; step-grandsons, Patrick and Andrew; step-great-grandchild, Eloise. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard E. Morris Sr.; parents, Arlin Woodrow and Johnie Louise Abram; grandparents, McGrady “Mack” and Bessie Lee Abram; great-granddaughter, Annabell McKenna Morris; sisters, Margaret E. Henke and Barbara Ann Burkett; half brothers, Jackie and Jimmy.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Belleville.

VISITATION: A visitation for Patsy will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 11:00am – 1:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL

SERVICE: A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 1:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home with interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens.
