Pat was a member of good standing in a highly prized and specially selected group of women called “The Ya-Ya's”. She was second in line to become the Queen Mama one day. Her goofy sense of humor, compassion for animals and love of gardening was unsurpassed. She was loved and admired by all of us. The "Ya-Ya's" will be without its spark. Pat was a born again believer since a very young age. You could not shake her faith. She made hard choices in life and always trusted the Lord to give her the strength and comfort she needed, up until the very day He called her home. She is now reunited with her husband, son, parents and other loved ones. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Floyd and Helen, nee Wiegand, Daniel; her loving husband, Michael Haggerty; and a son, James Todd Ellner. Surviving are her daughters, Lisa Wrigley, of Shiloh, Illinois and Cynthia (Ronald) Isom, of Lexington, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Michael Ellner, Aidan Isom, and Brittany, Samantha, and Lauren Thouvenot; a great grandson, Michael J. Sinovic; a brother, Robert L. (Judith) Daniel, a sister, Margret (Walter) Shankle; her nieces, Yvonne Trentman, Michele Buckner, and Sherri (Steve)McKenzie;
and two nephews, Richard (Debbie) Green and Anthony (Cynthia) Shankle.
2 Corinthians 5:6-9Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
