I just recently met Maya through an app, and the moment i saw her i knew i wanted to be friends with her. This funny gorgeous girl never failed to be there for me and i’ve tried  to be there for her as much as i could. We brought each other up many times and she really changed the way i see life. I am alive right now because on Maya. May her soul rest in heaven. My condolences to the family, you had an amazing girl! ❤️❤️

Maya was the kindest soul, she easily made friends due to the way she carried herself and spoke to others. Although, she deserved a better and longer life. I wish we all could’ve watched maya grow longer but they took her way too soon. This angel will always remain in my heart. 💜

I did not know Maya, but I’ve seen the her passing has affected many of people.  Nobody deserves to go through any of this kind of hurting in life but it just happens.  I wish healing and prayers uppon anyone who was affected by this and you’re not alone! although i never personally meet maya, i was friends with her throughout  social media. we had a few deep conversations and a lot of compliments were given. she light up every picture she was in with her beautiful smile, and her hilarious and great videos. she was very funny and loved her friends. she will be deeply missed even by the people who barely know her. miss her very much.  💕 LLM 🦅 she will be forever missed. 

the one thing i will always remember
is the first time i ever seen maya at bryan middle school. i knew that was someone who i wanted to become close friends with. i was down in the dump one day and she saw me in the hall walking to the office and asked if i was ok. that made my day 10 times better. i couldn’t ask for anything else that day but her! she truly did light up my day and make me smile. she was loved by so many people. i will always love u maya ! u made my bryan days so much better. i was always laughing around u! u put a big smile on my face! i miss u so so so much! i love u always and forever maya. get your rest pretty girl ! u all are in my prayers! forever! 💞 #LLM 🕊

My favorite memory of Maya is when we would call each other in the middle of the night and talk about our problems. I loved how she could say the littlest thing and bright up my day.  I am going to miss those late night target runs where we go look for something and never buy anything. I loved the photos we took.
