Our Luke Benjamin Reichert of Collinsville, IL was called by God on January 4th, 2024 at the age of 27 at Children's Hospital in St. Louis. He passed the gates of heaven peacefully and surrounded by the endless love of his parents.
Luke was born on April 17, 1996 to his loving parents Lorie & Wayne Reichert. He is survived by his older brother Isaac & his wife Katy; his twin brother Jake & his wife Julie; his younger brother Noah, and his guardian dog Luna who would always lay down at Luke's feet. He has also left behind his paternal grandparents Ken & Vivian Reichert, and his maternal grandmothers Lorraine Mandeville and Mary Ulery.
Luke was embraced by a large loving family of numerous aunts and uncles, first cousins, second cousins who will forever miss him so much.
Through his short life, he has touched the lives of many with that special smile. He has shown us what it is to be brave and have grit, for his path was never easy. He has shown us how to focus on family and wrap our arms around him for even there are difficulties in our path there is always love that surround us. Through all the pain, challenges and heart aches, Luke was able to shine a light to everyone who was around him. He would fix his sight on you, or squeeze your hand, or even give you a big grin because there are many more ways to express love than just words.
