Lucille May Crain Wolff

Lucille “Aunt Lu” M. Wolff, nee Crain, 86, of Millstadt, Illinois formerly of Belleville, Illinois, born, January 13, 1930 in Alton, Illinois, died Wednesday May 19, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

Lucille was a member of Christ the King Apostolic Church in O’Fallon, Illinois. She was a former Emergency Medical Technician and prior to that worked as an operator for the telephone company. She enjoyed shopping, garage sales, thrift stores, and playing the piano, Most of all she loved people it didn’t matter if she was meeting her friends at McDonald’s, or telling stories she simply enjoyed people and going anywhere. Lucille loved the journey that is life. Aunt Lu was a nature lover who loved fishing and feeding the animals. She loved her family at Garden Place.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Wolff, her parents; Harvey and Dorothy, nee Begley, Crain, and a brother, Joe Crain.

Surviving are her brother, Harvey Crain of Whitehall, Illinois, a dear friend, Pat Lisk, and many dear nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 6pm, Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Christ the King Apostolic Church, O’Fallon, Illinois. Interment will be private at Lake View Memorial Gardens.
