Linda was born August 29, 1945 in Doniphan, MO to Dewey and Lou Irene Smithton Brooks. She married Clarence William Jones and he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Brooks and three step-sons, Ricky Jones, Kenny Jones and Billy Jones.
Linda is survived by her four daughters, Melinda (Carl) Williams of Caseyville, IL, Margaret Barbeau of Park Hills, MO, Lorrie (Mike) Dunnavant of Collinsville, IL and Heather (Edward) Barfield of Collinsville, IL; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Linda will be dearly missed all who knew and loved her dearly.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
