Leonard was a devoted and dedicated family man. There was nothing more that he cherished than spending time with his family and loved ones. He married the love of his life, Yon Choi, on August 23, 1972. This union brought beautiful memories and together the two raised four children. He retired as a Master Sergeant from 22 years of active duty in the United States Air Force, then continuing civil service work at Scott Air Force Base. He belonged to several organizations, such as: The Shriner’s, Masonic Lodge #0024 in Belleville, the VFW Post 1739, and the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry. Leonard loved photographer, music, especially Jazz, and technology. He was an avid reader and also an amateur radio enthusiast. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Leonard A. and Maragaret (Brown) Paris.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Yon Paris, his children: Yong Hui Yoon, SuChi Lineberry, Cheryl (Michael) Peden, and Leonard C. Paris, his grandchildren: Steven Yoon, Taylor Lineberry, Travis Peden, and Logan Peden, and a number of dear relatives and friends.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Lake View Funeral Home, located at 5000 N Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.
Funeral Service: Funeral Services will be held immediately following visitation at 1:00 pm, at Lake View Funeral Home. Entombment to take place at Lake View Memorial Gardens Memorial Mausoleum.
