Mr. Devine was retired from the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 321 in New Baden, Illinois and was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elle, nee Matherly, Devine, his first wife Norma Devine, his brothers, Bill and Bud Devine, and a sister, Isabelle.
Surviving is his wife, Wanda Devine, nee Adams, his four children, Robert, Steve, and Bill Devine, and Sue Greene, his four step-children, Michael Klawonn, Michelle Klein, Melinda Doherty, and Mark Klawonn, many grandchildren, a great grandchild, other relatives and friends.
