John Patrick Neeley

John was very involved with Hoyleton Youth and Family Services for many years. He enjoyed spending quality time with the family he loved. He could often be found sitting outside, simply enjoying the weather and talking about his time in carpentry. He also loved watching Western movies.

He was a loving husband to Carolyn, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn A. Neeley; his children, Christopher Neeley and Heaven Lea Neeley; and grandchild, Donald Roberts.

Surviving are his children, Deidra Neeley, Kaylyn Neeley, Maggie Neeley, Demetria Neeley, Jeridin Neeley, Christine Neeley, Julie Neeley, Abriana Neeley; his grandchildren, Maddie Layne, Aniya Layne, Landon Layne, Maison Layne, Dylan Snyder, Tyler Snyder, Layla Snyder, Amy Cloe-Harl (Bryant), Daniel Womble, James Womble (Ashley), Nicholas Roberts (Heather), and Rayven Lyles; granddaughter-in-law, Wend Roberts; great-grandchildren, Riley, Harper, Elijah, William, Kennadi, Chloe, Jada, Jordyn, Tobias, LJ, Noah, Gracie, Silas, and many other great-grandchildren, foster kids, relatives and dear friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded under the direction of Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.
