Jo Ann was a member of the First Baptist Church in Freeburg, Illinois. She was very involved with her church and played the organ for many churches in the area. She worked for First National Bank, which later turned into Bank of America, in Fort Myers, Florida, where she and her husband, Clarence, lived for many years. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, and crocheting. She was also an avid painter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William L. and Anna M., nee Chesney, Carr; her brother, Grover C. Carr; and her sister, Inez L. Hooper.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 64 years, Clarence L. "Tex" Reynolds, of Freeburg, Illinois; her children, Jean Ann (Michael) Poniske, of Peoria, Illinois, William (Katie) Reynolds, of Swansea, Illinois, Michael (Patricia N.) Reynolds, of Smithton, Illinois; and Richard Reynolds, of Lehigh Acres, Florida; her grandchildren, Angela Jean Huerta, Christopher Michael Poniske, Daniel (Kasia) Reynolds, Jo Dee (Aaron) Burrow, Andrea (David) Stein, Jeremy (Alicia) Reynolds, Amber (Pascual, Jr.) Lucas, and Jessica (Richard) Maysonet; great grandchildren, Diego, Savion, Emilio, Grant, Mallory, Clark, Ethan, Anna, Noella, Hartley, Asher, Lizzy, and Linnae; two nieces, Sharon, (Dave) Luebbers and Norma Lee Wadhams; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the church with Pastor James Jenkel officiating with a luncheon at the church to follow the service.
