Jennie A. Stone

Jennie was born August 4, 1933 in Waukegan, IL to Jacob and Jennie (Subets) Kranz. She married Herbert “Rocky” Stone on July 17, 1954; he preceded her in death on May 1, 2013.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Frances Kranz.

Together, she and Rocky had five children who survive: Debbie (Bill) Ausmus of Clayton, IL, Bruce (Linda) Stone of Schertz, TX, Leslie (Steve) Mattingly of Blanchard, OK, Donna (Jonathan) Wiltsie of Shiloh, IL, and Karen (Jason) Mollet of Belleville, IL; and her beloved fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Jennie was a longtime member of First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL. She enjoyed sewing & throughout the years created many beautiful pieces for her friends and family to treasure. Above all else, she cherished the time she was able to spend with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service for Jennie will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 10:45 A.M. at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL
