Preceded in death by his wonderful and loving father, William Neal Van Hoose, they are now reunited in glory.
Survived by beloved mother, Shirley Van Hoose from Ana, IL, and dear brothers Monty and Lee Jay, with lovely wives, Lesa and Ann Van Hoose. Jeffrey’s adoring nieces, Aurora and Charlotte will fondly remember their uncle Jeffrey, as well as a host of friends who became like family - Jeffrey was loved by too many to count.
Jeff was more than a brilliant mind and committed Chief of Technology during his vast career, closing that prestigious career at Kansas State University, he was also a man of faith in God, who devoted his life to the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone who knew him knew full well where his priorities lived. He made an eternal impact on anyone his life intersected.
His greatest passion was using the advance of technology to reach people for Christ, including and especially children. A prolific writer, his putting pen to paper, elicited the most ardent of skeptics to consider their ways. Moreover anything, Jeffrey was both a student and a teacher of the Word of God, and he will be sorely missed in this life. His friends and family hold to the hope we have in Jesus, that Jeff is far more in our future, than in our past - and, WE WILL see him again!
Celebration of Life services will be held at Lake View Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5000 N. Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL on June 1st, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. Final interment and graveside will be held following services, at Lake View Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Luncheon will also be held at Generation Church on Sunday, June 11th, 2023 at 12:00 P.M.. ALL ARE WELCOME to both.
Jeffrey Neal Van Hoose leaves us rich in memories, and far better people for having known him. Until we see you again, dear brother.
