Janice Clara Stewart

Janice was born January 5, 1941 in Belleville, IL to Karl J. and Mayme E. (Roth) Kammler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Duane Stewart; and her brother, Roger Kammler.

She is survived by her beloved children, Todd (Julie) Stewart of Maryville, IL, Steven Stewart of Mascoutah, IL and Dana (Michael) Link of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Brandy, Cassidy, Jack, Kadin, Brayden, Devin and Nolan; and her brother, Larry (Connie) Kammler of Goldsboro, N.C.

Janice was a devoted employee with various offices throughout the area, including Midwest Savings and Loan, Lerners in Belleville, K-Mart as a bookkeeper, the office of attorney Jim Keehner, J & K Service Towing and more recently with the Dental Network of America.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed reading and cross-stitching. She loved animals of all kinds and cared for many throughout her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. Her family, especially her dear grandchildren, were the light of her life and through them, her memory will never be forgotten.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer Support Association or to the Metro East Humane Society.

VISITATION: A visitation for Janice will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 5:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

SERVICE: A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens.
