He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Helen (Zattz) Price a sister, Joyce A. Pope, and a brother, Ronald D. Price.
Harvey is survived by sons, Jeffery (Karen) Price of Troy, Illinois, Robin Price of Alton, Illinois, and grandchildren, Lindsey and Claudia Price.
Harvey was an Operating Engineer with Local 520 where he worked from 1956 and retired from in 1994. He enjoyed building everything from houses to hot rods. He was a founding member of the Southern Illinois Street Rod Association and was well known for the many cars he owned. Harvey was a stranger to no one and will be missed by all that knew him.
Private graveside service will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired in Jacksonville, Illinois.
