Harold was employed by Granite City Steel for 32 years, both as a millwright and a hot metal crane operator. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and an avid car and Corvette lover. Harold graduated high school in Granite City. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Martha, nee Andrews, Miller; and one grandson, Nathan Charles David Miller.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Virginia, nee Judd, Miller; two sons, David (Laura) Miller, of Belleville, Illinois and Steven (Patricia) Miller, of Wildwood, Missouri; four grandchildren, Candice Miller-DeLarm, of Belleville, Samantha Miller, of Wildwood, Missouri, Nicole Miller, of Wildwood, Missouri, and Zachary Miller, of North Carolina; one brother, Richard Miller, of Wildwood, Missouri; one sister, Sherry Swiecicki, of Maryville, Illinois; one brother in law, Richard (Andrea) Judd of Springfield, Illinois; three nephews, Christopher (Carol Ann) Swiecicki, of Chesterfield, Missouri, Keith (Sherry) Swiecicki, of Rolla, Missouri, and Richard (Caroline) Judd, of Springfield, Illinois; three nieces, Laura Moral, of The Woodlands, Texas, Rachele (Lawrence) Thompson, of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Francine (Christian) Stock, of New Orleans, Louisiana; many other relatives and friends.
