Gloria Taylor Roberts

Gloria was a long time Sunday school teacher for children and adults at Rosemont Baptist Church and Towerview Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and doing crossword puzzles. She also loved birds and cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Eugene Roberts, her parents; Harry and Thelma, nee Harold, Taylor, two brothers; George and Lloyd Taylor, a grandchild; David Petty, and a great grandchild; Johnathon Freeman.

Surviving are her children; Ronald (Patsy) Roberts of Fairview Heights, Illinois and Terry (Betty) Roberts of Arnold, Missouri, grandchildren, Laurie (Rev. Sam) Simmonds, Rodney (Ellen) Roberts, Trish Roberts, Cindy (George) Fraley, Julie (Mark) George, Pamela (Eric) Johnson, Steven (Serah) Roberts, and Angela (Billy) Lattimore, great grandchildren; Joshua Roberts, Justin Roberts, Amy Roberts, Devin Fraley, Heather Kelley, Michael George, Sarah George, Chloe Johnson, Belle Johnson, Eli Roberts, Zoey Roberts, Lucy Roberts, and Christopher Freeman, great great grandchildren; Makenzly, Abigail, Ellie, Caitie, and Allison, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, August 14, 2015 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois with Rev. Sam Simmonds officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Fairview Heights, Illinois.
