What can I say, Liz has been so much a part of my life. At age seven she was my Sunday School Teacher when my parents, Rev. and Mrs. H. G. Thrasher became pastors of what would become Villa Hills Assembly of God.  She taught Children's Church many years, led songs in church services, and was a close friend and worker with my mother in the WM program. They helped to see the church bricked. I can remember her by my side at the altars on Sunday Nights diligently praying with me til late hours for a school girl.  Faithful! Heaven will be wonderful. Deborah Thrasher Crabb

Elizabeth will be missed by all her family and friends! I recall many visits by Elizabeth and and Ron to Calhoun as a youngster.  I came across them at Ryan's steakhouse in Belleville during the 2000's! Always a pleasant visit with them.

Lizzy was such  a blessing. When I think of Liz, steadfast and consistent in her faith comes to mind. We go back many years and the memories of Liz always makes me smile. Ron I know you will find comfort in knowing she has received her heavenly home, what a joy to know you will see her again. This I know, continue to move forward in the “race set before you”  with your focus on God… only the Holy Spirit can comfort and keep you in peace and contentment. And for that we are thankful that “He” is mindful of us!

Elizabeth was my sister in Christ.  She had the joy of the Lord! That was her strength.  Liz was one of our song leaders at Villa Hills Assembly of God Church.  She always liked the song “More about Jesus”.  Liz had a heart for children and winning souls for Christ.  She had a favorite dish she would bring to church dinners.  Liz loved her old fashioned mashed potatoes.  She also loved a cold bologna sandwich.  Even though Liz had no children of her own.  She was a mother to her children at church.  Liz taught many about Jesus in the years she was a Sunday School teacher.  We already miss her.  Remember his Peace passes all understandings.  Trust and obey because there’s no other way.  Happy with Jesus when we Trust and Obey!  Ron may all the supporting prayers of friends and family bring you peace.  God is by your side.

I remember Liz teaching Sunday School and Children’s Church over the years I went to Villa Hills Assembly of God as a child/teen and enjoyed her as a teacher. She was a pillar in the church along with her husband Ron and sister Rosie. I’m sure she will be greatly missed.

Liz was a wonderful, sweet and precious lady!  Her love and devotion for the Lord was always seen.  She will truly be missed by all who knew her.  Ron, you are in our prayers.  May the Lord be near and dear to you at this most sad time in your life.  Heaven becomes so close and real as our loved ones pass.  We truly believe we shall see her soon!!  God bless and keep you.  Our love goes out to you!
The Goldizen’s

Lizabeth was like family to me.  We called her aunt Liz.  She was my Sunday school teacher growing up.  I remember her coming to my house and offering to help me do my dishes.  She was always right beside uncle Ron.  She helped him on jobs and was his bookkeeper.  Aunt Liz was a wonderful lady!  She enjoyed life and loved the Lord.  The sweetest person you’ll ever meet.  Ron and Liz both were a big part of the church.  God held our church together by a strong backbone.  Reverend H E Thrasher and Elaine were our Pastors for 27 years.  Ron and Liz both helped build the church and recreation building at Villa Hills Assembly of God.  Liz was a lot of fun!  I remember making peanut brittle as a teenager with Liz and her sister Rose.  Liz encouraged me to invest in real estate.  I took up her advice and started my rental portfolio.  You will be greatly missed aunt Liz.  I’m so sorry for your lose Ron, Rose and Patsy.

I will always remember Liz as a beautiful soul who was kind, caring and funny.  She could make me laugh and cry in the same minute because of her love and her humor. She loved everyone.  She loved her husband.  Must of all she loved Jesus. I will be seeing you Liz.
