Diane Lynn West

Diane Lynn West, 56, of Caseyville, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022. She was born July 29, 1966 in Red Bud, Illinois to Dennis and Carolyn (Tindall) Cheek. She married Gerard West March 22, 1986 at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt. Diane loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Gerard West; mother, Carolyn Starr; children, Amanda (Paul) Smith, Erin West and Edward (Tanya Lynch) West; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Paul Smith, Daniel Smith, Isaiah Smith, Skyler West, Ashton Pullium, Rebecca West and Annalyse West; siblings, Dennis (Lauren) Cheek, Douglas (Linda) Cheek, Holly (Joseph) Lillis, Deborah (Donald) Lillis, James (Hope) Starr, Michelle (Tim) Sumnler, James (Rose) Adamson, Pamela Cheek and Dennis Cheek; step-mother, Linda Cheek and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her fathers, Dennis Cheek and James Starr; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Ann West.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11:00am in the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family or the American Heart Association.
