Daniel "Dan" F. Wolf

Dan was born September 14, 1952 in Oak Park, IL to Frank Robert and Virigina Claire (Mandy) Wolf.

He married Margo G. Beyer on May 20, 1978, in Burr Ridge, IL. She survives and resides in Lebanon, IL.

Also surviving are their two sons, Mark (Kim) Wolf of Aurora, IL and Jonathan Wolf of Muddy, IL; siblings, Paul Wolf of Villa Park, IL, James “Jim” Wolf of Ashland, WI. and Linda Wolf of Texas; Margo’s siblings, Marsha (Andrew) Muetterties of Parker, CO, Burton (Laurie) Beyer of Oak Lawn, IL, Dudley (Lori) Beyer of Lincoln, NE; nephew, Christopher (Stacy) Beyer of Hometown, IL and great-nieces, Anna and Bree.

He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws, Albert and Jean Beyer.

Dan proudly served his country in the United States Air National Guard. He worked and retired as an Aircraft Avionics Technician at Scott Air Force Base, after many years of dedicated service.

Dan was a lifelong mechanic, often helping friends and family fix their cars when needed. His most prized procession was in Retro 2004 Thunderbird which brought him many long drives and fond memories over the years. Dan will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Dan will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, IL.

A memorial service will be held Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Final interment will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 2:30 P.M.

Memorial donations may be made to Scott VFW Post 4183 or to Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, IL, both places of which Dan was an active member.
