Cathy Jo Kondracki

Cathy was a graduate of McKendree University Magna Cum Laude. During her working career, she was employed with several different companies with the most recent at Explore St. Louis in St. Louis, Mo. Where she retired after nearly 22 years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Belleville where she had taught children’s Sunday School, sang in the choir and sang solo presentations.

Cathy was a very loving and outgoing people person who gave joy and happiness to her family and friends. She married her husband, Joseph Kondracki, on January 26, 1973, in Fairview Heights, Il., at Chapel Hill Christian Church.

Cathy was a creative person who loved to make jewelry, crochet and decorate her home and her Explore St. Louis desk area with seasonal and holiday decorative themes. Her co-workers loved the decorations and said it brightened up the office and made them happy.

Cathy loved her husband, children and grandchildren. They brought joy to her life.

She is survived by her husband; Joseph Kondracki, mother; Shirley Wright, sons; Benjamin (JoyLynn) Kondracki, Nicholas Kondracki, grandsons; Thorin Kondracki, Rowan Kondracki, brother-in-law; John (Teresa) Kondracki, nephew; Alan Kondracki; brother-in-law, Anthony Kondracki; sister-in-law; Cathy Wright, nieces; Kendra Wright, Rachael (Skylar) White, nephew; John (Holly) Wright and several grand nieces, nephews and cousins.

There are also many close friends from First Christian Church of Belleville, Il., Explore St. Louis and many other dear friends. She will be missed by all.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father; Burton Dale Wright and her brother; Burton Dale Wright Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:30 am, October 15, 2022 at the First Christian Church of Belleville 5929 Old St. Louis Road, Belleville, IL. Family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the hour of service at the church.
