Brian graduated from Belleville East High School and took some courses at BAC. He owned and operated his computer gaming business, Flagship Industries, for over 20 years in Maryville, IL. He was incredibly passionate about collecting cars and owned a ’69 Shelby, a Maserati, a Ferrari, a Jeep, and a Raptor.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez (nee Zaring) Knapp; grandparents, David and Ruth Knapp; and brother-in-law, Randall Gray.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his father, Leland Knapp; stepmother, Mary (nee Price) Knapp; sister, Linda (David) Mize; step-sisters, Denise (Thomas) Chiarelli, Stephanie (Daniel) McAleenan, and Cindy Gray; plus numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He will be accorded rites of cremation under the care of Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL. A private family celebration of life will be held.
