Bonnie Lou Paschedag, 91, of Granite City, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023. She was born March 12, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Jack Lee Paschedag and they shared 65 special loving together. Bonnie had a passion for teaching. She was a 3rd grade teacher at Wilson Elementary School in Granite City. Bonnie enjoyed fishing, baking and most of all, spending quality time with her precious grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her son, Randy (Tina) Paschedag; daughter-in-law, Misuk Paschedag; grandchildren, Jackie, Alexis, Joshua, Meagan, Michelle, Jennifer, Mike and Christina; great-grandchildren, Drew, Ava, Carter and Abby; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Glenn (Bea) Heidemann. Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lee Paschedag; sons, Richard and Ronald Paschedag; grandson, William Paschedag; brother, Louis “Bud” (Christine “Chris”) Heidemann; sisters, Thelma (Howard) Fahrenbrink and Helen (Bud) Eagle.
A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00am to 1:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208 with interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
