Betty was a member of St. Mathews United Methodist Church in Belleville. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Madeline, nee Morgan, Knop, four grandchildren; Travis M. Kassing and three in infancy, twins, Jennifer L. and Jolene L. Hoffman, and Myla Hoffman, a brother, William Fredrick Knop.
Surviving are children; Joyce (Larry) Kassing of Waterloo, Illinois, William “Freddie” (P.J.) Hoffman of Millstadt, Illinois, and Robert (Tammy) Hoffman of Yorba Linda, California, four grandchildren; Christopher (Anna) Hoffman, Nicole Hoffman, Kimberly (Tad) Fatum, and Mindy (James) Tamplin, seven great grandchildren; Grant, Evan, Noah, Tristan, Liam, Landen, and Blake, three sisters; Della Mae (Duane) Bibko of Florissant, Missouri, Josephine Dilallo of St. Louis, Missouri, Marjorie (Bill) Priebe of Campbell Hill, Illinois, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
