Arlene was a very active member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Fayetteville, Illinois where she served as president of the church and president of the Women’s Guild. She served for over 20 years on the Fayetteville Zoning Board. Arlene was an avid bowler and a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren H. Koch, her parents; Otto and Alvina, nee Roth, Funk, a daughter, Jane Knauf, a great grandchild, Dora Bettencourt, two brothers; Verlan "Buddy" Funk and Leland “Sonny” Funk, and a sister, Bernice Kinzel.
Surviving is her son, Gene (Sue) Koch of Newburgh, Indiana, three grandchildren; Dawn Knauf Bettencourt, Christopher Knauf, and Scott Koch, a great grandchild, Aurora Knauf, two brothers; Alvin (Jeannette) Funk of Fayetteville, Illinois and Dallas (Sue) Funk of Fayetteville, Illinois, a sister-in-law, Virginia Funk other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
