Thomas Patrick Galligan

Thomas was the son of the late Joan (Thomas) Galligan and the late Edward Galligan of Fairhaven. He was the beloved father of his daughters Amy Galligan of Fairhaven and Jessica Galligan and her fiancé Cassidy Mederios of New Bedford.

He was the proud grandfather of Vera Weston. He is survived by his sister Cheryl Metthe and her husband Roger Metthe of Fairhaven and his nephews Daniel Metthe and AJ Metthe. He was the brother of the late Kevin Galligan of Fairhaven.

Tom was a 1982 graduate of Fairhaven High School and attended college in Tyler, Texas. His employment included Bertrand Plumbing and Fittings, Bell Atlantic. and GTR Manufacturing.

He most enjoyed spending time with family. His interests included off-roading and he had an appreciation for classic/muscle cars. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 9:00AM in St. Joseph's Church, 74 Spring Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1213 Kempton Street, Rt. 6, New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited.
