Born in Fall River, he was the son of Lucien and Concorde (Ouellette) Corr (nee) Corriveau.
He graduated from the Staunton Military Academy, Staunton, Virginia, 1948. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1951. Following military services, he attended the University of Connecticut.
He was employed by the PNC Bank of Pennsylvania for thirty years as Vice President of Military Banking. Representing PNC Bank, Robert traveled yearly to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, West Point in Newburgh, NY, Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, and the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT to offer banking services to graduating cadets.
Robert and his wife traveled extensively in Europe and Asia. Following retirement, Robert and his wife lived in France before settling down in Fairhaven.
He enjoyed attending classic car show and was talented in the art of drawing and sketching classic cars.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor, and children, David Corriveau, Robert M. Corr, Susan Taylor, Clayton Taylor, Deborah McCann and Rodman E. Taylor.
