Jose “Joseph” Arruda, 82 of Fairhaven passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the son of the late Joao M. and Maria D. Arruda.
Born in St. Michaels, Azores, Portugal, he was a longtime resident. He was employed as a lab technician for Denison Pharmaceutical for many years. Joe loved his family dearly, especially his nieces and nephews. He was an extremely hard worker, but enjoyed life to the fullest. He was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed to travel.
Joseph is survived by his sister, Maria Camara of New Bedford and many, many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Fernando and Tony Arruda.
