Born in the US Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, NH, “Chucky”, as he liked to be called, was a 50+ years resident of Fairhaven. He was a graduate of Fairhaven High School and was employed by the Town of Fairhaven, Department of Public Works. He was a fun-loving guy who loved his family and his two cats, Noella and BooBoo. In the summer, Chucky enjoyed going to craft fairs, attending the Madeira Feast, and Quahogging. He was also a huge Dallas Cowboy’s fan.
He is survived by his siblings, Christopher Hurley and his wife Lynne of Washington, Michael Hurley and his wife Janet of Alabama, Colleen (Hurley) Moura and her husband Eric of Fairhaven and, and several nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his brother Marc Hurley.
