Timothy Alan Mensch

Age 55 of Fairfax Station , Virginia passed away suddenly on May 23, 2017. He was the son of Donald and Margaret (Hatchard) Mensch. A graduate of Fairfax High School and George Mason University, Tim worked as an independent contractor for the Washington Post and most recently at Wegmen’s in Fairfax, Virginia. He enjoyed being outside doing home projects and spending time with his dogs (Winston and Maxwell). In life, he was always generous with his time and helped anyone who needed help. He is survived by his wife Pamela (Onufer) Mensch, his parents, two sisters Mary Shaffer of Virginia Beach, Lisa Herbig and Brother in Law Jeff and two nieces Emily and Ashley Herbig of Fairfax. Tim was preceded in death by a brother, John Mensch.

His viewing will be at Demaine Funeral Home in Fairfax, VA, Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM. Celebration of life and funeral services will take place at St. Peter’s in the Woods Episcopal Church, Fairfax Station, Virginia on Wednesday, May 31 at 10 AM. Reception will follow at the church.
