Mr. Steven Rebovich

Steven was born in his family’s home in German Township, Fayette County PA in 1929. Immediately after High School, Steven joined the US Navy and served 4 years. After his discharge from the Navy, he headed to New York City where he embarked on a successful career as a textile Salesman for Spring Maid where he worked for more than 30 years. He married the love of his life Elizabeth (Betty) Mc Loughlin in 1970. They lived in Port Washington NY until 1990 when they moved to Virginia. Steve took loving care of Betty though out her long illness, never complaining or asking for help. They were married 34 years until Betty passed in 2004.

Steven came from a large family, 6 brothers and sisters, 14 nieces and nephews and was constantly in touch with them about their various family activities. He was independent and active until recently, driving his Cadillac to Bob Evans which he loved to do as part of his daily routine. Even after he stopped driving, he loved to go to Bob Evans to see his friends there and eat his soup and sandwich. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Steven is survived by son Steven Jr, daughter in law Valerie, daughter Karen, son Michael. He loved his grandchildren Amanda, Nicholas, and Michael and was proud of their accomplishments.

He will be interred at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York Friday Nov 20 2020 at 1PM.
