Scott was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Lon and Aline Wilson. He later moved to California and joined the military where he advanced his rank to Lieutenant Colonel. He was honorably discharged on April 30, 1993.
Scott married in 1978 to Nga Vu in Arlington, Virginia and would go on to have 2 children, John and Diana. He was an incredible and devoted husband and father. Through his daily actions, he graced us with his strength and altruistic nature. He dedicated his life in service of our country through various government organizations as he loved his country and countrymen, through and through. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, learning about history, and was an adventurous foodie with a penchant for Vietnamese cuisine. Lastly, he would want to be remembered as the coolest, tech-savvy Grandpa his grandkids have ever known.
Scott is survived by his wife, Nga Wilson; his children, John and Diana; his sister Diane Noland; and 3 grandsons.
