Ron was born in Carlsbad, NM to Morey and Ione Page on February 3, 1946. He married his wife Mary Jane on Sept 18, 1999. He graduated from high school in Colorado Springs, CO, and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver and Master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma and George Mason University.
He retired from the FAA after 37 years of service as a financial manager. Following retirement he spent 20 years as a tour guide in Washington, DC, a job he enjoyed immensely and where he made many good friends. He was a member of the Guild of Professional Tour Guides. Ron and Mary Jane were world travelers, having visited countries in Europe, Asia and South America.
Ron was a veteran of the Army and served in Vietnam from July 1969 to June 1970.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morey and Ione Page, and brother Morey Page, Jr.
Ron is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Comiskey Page of Fairfax, VA, son Steven (Joy) of Falls Church, VA, sister Gail Dale (Jed) of Dayton, OH, brothers Douglas (Jennifer) and Michael (Trish) of Scottsdale, AZ, grandchildren Grace and Byron Page of Falls Church. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including a very special niece, Catherine Dale, of Austin, TX.
A viewing and visitation for Ronald will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Demaine Fairfax Funeral Home, 10565 Main St, Fairfax, Virginia 22030, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, and his graveside service at 1:00PM at Fairfax City Cemetery, 10567 Main St, Fairfax, Virginia 22030.
