Robert Harold Parent was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, in 1948, to Harold and Marie Parent. He grew up in the state of Massachusetts. Robert, known to most as Bob, was the devoted husband of Karyn Parent with whom he shared 35 years of loving marriage. Together they raised 3 daughters, Katie, Emily and Amy and have enjoyed 3 grandsons Robert, Joseph and Daniel. He was a devoted provider and protector to his wife, children and grandchildren and was known for his big, giving heart and practical, reserved nature.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at 4:00 PM at Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA with a reception immediately following at the family's residence. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
