Mr. Richard Custer

Richard (Ricky) Allen Custer (age 75) of Fairfax, VA died on October 6th, 2019 in Fredericksburg, VA at the home of his nephew and his nephew’s wife, Daniel and Michelle Custer. “Ricky” was born on July 10th, 1944 in Washington, D.C. Ricky passed of natural causes while being cared for by family. He was an avid outdoorsman and wildlife conservationist. He resided in Fairfax, Va for the majority of his life where he worked as a self-employed taxidermist. He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Tolson; father, Ralph Junior Custer; and step-father, Walter “Dan” Tolson. He is survived by his brother, Ralph Custer of Manassas; sister, Barbara Schutt of Florida; step-brother, Jimmy Tolson of King George; nephew, Justin Schutt of North Carolina; nephew, Daniel Custer of Fredericksburg; nephew, Michael Custer of Florida; niece, Jackie Schutt of Florida; 4 grand-nieces and 4 grand-nephews.
