What can be said about the life of Nathan Andrew Julich. Known lovingly to the family as Nay Nay.
Nathan came into the world with a zest for life. In his early years you would find him jumping off furniture with a cape singing Da Da Da Da Batman! He was just so rambunctious. This rambunctioness was expressed by the name he had for his Uncle Farshad. He called his Uncle Mr. Stop It! Because the only words his Uncle would ever say to him was Stop It!
Nathan had an older sister Rochelle and they were two peas in a pod. Of course until Nathan found a way to press her buttons. This kid was a lion! Although a Lion he had a heart sweet as honey and a tongue smooth as silk.
Nathan had a very strong bond with his Mother Farima, which was first tested when Nathan started pre-school. When she dropped him off he would bawl his eyes out. He just didn’t want to leave her side. Nathan developed strong attachments to all those he loved.
After family functions, when his Grandmother Denise was leaving, he would throw a tantrum. He wouldn’t let her leave. So Grandma devised a system in which she would drive him around the block a couple of times with the promise that he would settle down and let her go home.
Nathan seemed to have known that his time with us would be short by the attention he gave to his relationships and the hardship he had when saying goodbye to his family.
Nathan loved his siblings very much—Rochelle, John, Mary, and Paul. He would often speak of how proud he was of them and their accomplishments in sports and academics.
Nathan attended St. Bernadette’s and made many friendships with Priests, teachers, and students. He was a Boy Scout and played Little League baseball in Springfield. His favorite sport, and the one he was known for, was football which he played for SYC on many championship teams.
Nathan leaves behind his Mother Farima, Step-Father Carl, Sisters Rochelle and Mary, Brothers John and Paul. His dog Shadow who he lovingly referred to as his Son, the girl he loved—Ashton, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends as well as me his Father.
Rest In Peace My Son Nathan
