Natalie Ruth Moser, 86, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. Natalie was born on November 5, 1927 in Manitowoc, WI, along with her twin sister, Nelda, to George and Lillian Stephani.
Natalie grew up in Manitowoc, WI, where she attended and graduated Lincoln High School. Afterwards, Natalie pursued her lifelong dream of nursing, attending and graduating from Holy Family School of Nursing in Manitowoc in 1949.
In 1955, Natalie married Dale Edward Moser in Omaha, Nebraska. They were happily married for 56 years. Natalie was a member of many religious and non-religious organizations. She enjoyed so many activities, but her real loves were sewing, crafting, gardening, and of course, socializing.
From Dale’s job, Natalie and the family were able to live in many amazing places, including Hawaii and Japan. Natalie used these opportunities to immerse herself in the local cultures to learn their crafting and local cooking techniques – passing them on to friends and family for years to come.
Natalie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillian, her twin sister Nelda, and her husband, Dale.
Natalie is survived by her sons and daughters – Jacob (Nicole) Moser of Fredericksburg, VA, Mark (Diane) of Norfolk, VA, Stephanie Moser of Woodbridge, VA, and Katherine (Greg) Planthaber of Springfield, VA; her grandchildren Chrissy Baker, Anthony Rohman, Alex Moser, Reid Moser, Jennifer LeVay, Brittany LeVay, Aiden Moser; her great-grandchildren Jackson Baker, Reid Moser Jr (Keanu), and Collin LeVay.
