Thompson family,  I am so sorry to hear about Marty. He was my roommate while we were stationed at 29 palms marine corps base. We deployed to Somalia together and spent almost three years together as marine brothers. You will be missed my friend. The Lord now has a us marine to stand guard over the heavely gates. I remember Marty in high school always smiling...wearing some heavy metal band t-shirt (what was considered heavy metal in the 80's).  I saw him at our 5 year reunion and he was still smiling.  You will be missed my friend.
