

Judy was born Judith Anne Stucky in Rockport, Indiana on July 6, 1936, the daughter of the late Herman Edward Stucky and Dana Dean Stucky. She graduated from Indiana University in 1958, where she was a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. She married Robert Leroy Maginity Jr. in Indianapolis on June 21, 1958. Judy moved to Aberdeen, Maryland after her marriage and raised her children in Reisterstown, Maryland.
Judy initially worked as a teacher and thereafter had a long career as a computer programmer at the Social Security Administration headquarters in Woodlawn, Maryland. After her retirement she moved to Clifton, Virginia. In retirement, Judy spent more than twenty joyful years with her grandchildren. She also touched many lives as an ESL teacher at Centreville United Methodist Church. She lived her last years at Heatherwood Retirement Community in Burke, Virginia.
Judy is survived by her sister Jane Bennett, son Mark Maginity, daughter Tracy McGowan, four grandchildren Kyra Maginity, Sam McGowan, Dana Vanacore, and Chris McGowan, nieces Holly Garland and Emily Hostetter, and seven grandnieces and grandnephews.
