Joseph T. Dickman passed away on August 5, 2014 at Commonwealth Health & Rehab Center in Fairfax, Va. Joe, a native of San Antonio, Texas, served over 23 years of distinguished service to his nation and the U.S. Air Force. Career highlights include: commander pilot and instructor of B52s, served in the Vietnam War, served as Deputy Chief, Chief of Staff Air Force Staff Group, and Chief, Facilities Management Division of the White House Military Office. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph L. & Helen Dickman. He is survived by his wife, Judy Dickman, his daughters, Michelle Adler, and Jill Taylor (Will), five grandchildren, Kristopher Adler, Kyle Adler, Morgan Taylor, Mason Taylor, and Madison Taylor, a brother, John Dickman, and many nieces and nephews. The family will have visitation on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2 to 4:00 pm at the Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22030. Funeral service and interment, with full military honors, will be held in Arlington National Cemetery on January 14, 2015, at 9:00am. A reception will immediately follow the burial at the Fort Meyer Officer's Club on the 2nd floor Dever's room.
