He grew up in the Bren Mar Park neighborhood where his family enjoyed many long friendships. Dave attended Thomas Jefferson High School and lived his life in Fairfax County. At the time of his death, he was a general contractor with Double D Home Improvement Services. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was a loyal fan of the Washington Nationals, Redskins, and Capitals. Dave also enjoyed playing guitar and was in several bands over his lifetime.
All who knew Dave will long remember him as a kind-hearted, loyal friend who was always ready to lend a hand. His smile and laugh were contagious and he could always brighten up any room with his kindness and sense of humor.
More than anything, Dave adored his daughter, Elizabeth, (aka "squirt"). She was the light of his life and he loved being her father.
Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Steven George; his aunt and uncle, Jackie and Ed McDaniel, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
