Barbara Opal Rowland, 89, of Manassas, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Prince William Hospital. She was preceded in death by husband, Fred L. Rowland.
She was born November 3, 1925 in Arlington, to the late Mattie and Edward Moore.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three children: Robert L. Rowland, and his wife Donna, Roger L. Rowland, and his wife Anita, and Sheila A. Rowland; two sisters: Mary Agnes Fendley and Mayonie Bradford; and 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Demaine Fairfax Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Demaine Fairfax Funeral Home at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at National Memorial Park.
