Agnes Westbrook of Springfield VA, formerly of Ft. Washington, MD died Monday October 17, 2022. Born September 4, 1922, she was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Westbrook; Mother of Robert C. Westbrook (Marianne), Mary Westbrook Kroetch, Beth A. Hooks and Michael J. Westbrook (Dianne); sister of Katherine Creane and Marie Schirmer; also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Agnes was a lifelong member of the Friends of The National Arboretum and a member of both the Oxon Hill Garden Club and Springfield Acres Garden Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass in celebration of her life at St Veronica Catholic Church, 3460 Centreville Rd., Chantilly, VA 20151 on Saturday October 29 at 2 PM. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery on January 9, 2023 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends Of The National Arboretum.
Friends and family are invited to a casual gathering immediately following the Mass, a short distance from the church.
