Vivian Maxine Blair-Stewart, 78, went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Norton Hospital, Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on November 27, 1943 in Sioux City, Iowa. She was the devoted wife of 62 years to Gerald Stewart, Mother of 6 children, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a lifelong devoted follower of Jesus who helped guide their family in numerous ministries together.
She was preceded in death by her Father: Claud Leroy Blair and Mother: Ethel Rose Newton-Blair Sisters: June, Evelyn, Claudette, and Helen, Brothers: Leroy, Arnold, Kenneth, and Ronald.
She married Gerald Wayne Stewart on September 24, 1959 in Papillion, Nebraska. She assisted her husband in numerous ministries, worked as a Surgical Assistant, and Librarian and had a giving heart for people.
She was truly the Matriarch of the family who loved people unconditionally, loved gospel music, crocheting, collecting figurines, bird watching and reading the Holy Scriptures and an avid prayer warrior.
Left to cherish her is her Husband Gerald Stewart, Sister Marion Crumlus (Wayne), Daughter Teresa Cook (Raymond), Son Rick Stewart (Brenda), Daughter Genevieve Hutchins (Michael) Daughter Tina Hammel (Daryl), Tammy Mize, and Dennis Blair. Fourteen Grandchildren and Thirty-Three Great-Grandchildren.
