John H. Haynes "Johnny", 66, of Fairdale, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012. He was a retired custodian for the JCPS, member of Fairdale Christian Church, Fairdale Lions Club for 35 years, volunteer for the Athletic Association, received the Melvin Jones Award & a big fan for all sports especially Fairdale High School.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda, step daughter, Angel Ballenger, father, Henry Haynes, mother, Mary Rose Cain, brothers, Charles Cain & David Haynes.
Survived by his sisters, Pat Warren (Bob), Sue Roadhouse (Billy), Dorothea Brooks (Myron), Kathy Neagle (Bill), Brenda Powell (Les), brother, Dennis Haynes (Elva), sister-in-law, Marylyn Cain, step son, Tony Ballenger & five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Nick, Lacie, Spencer & Jake.
Funeral services will be Noon Tuesday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home & Cremation Services 411 Fairdale Road with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-8 PM Monday and after 10AM Tuesday until time of service.
