On Monday, February 22, 2021, Charles Miller, Jr. passed away at the age of 90. Known by his family and friends as Junior, Dad, Grandaddy and Charlie. He was born on December 26, 1930 in Louisville, KY to Lucy & Charlie Miller.
Some of his many accomplishments were his military service in Germany, where he met and married his wife of 67 years, the former Lore Will. He became a member of the Masonic Lodge and also completed his GED.
He was blessed with two daughters, Mona and Carmen and loved his garden, woodworking, fishing and most of all his grandkids Byron & Weston.
Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy and his father, Charlie, sisters;, Nora, Bertha and Hazel, brothers, Edward, Ray and Ronald.
He is survived by his wife Lore, his two daughters, Mona Neal (Bob) and Carmen Stice (Rodney), grandchildren, Byron Neal (Brittney), Weston Neal (Mackenzie), Paul Stice, Jason Stice (Yvonne), Kegan Flum (Mark) and great grandchildren, Noah and Shepherd Neal, Calvin and Warner Neal, Avery and Emerson Flum and Taylor Stice, sisters, Ruby Steele, Nancy Osbourne, Beckye Fleming (David) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private visitation will be 11AM until 1PM Saturday, February 27, 2021
at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Rd. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In keeping with Covid restrictions, everyone must wear a mask and social distance.
