MASON, BRUCE, A., 77, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Jewish Hospital.
He was a retired self-employed carpenter, member of Nelson County Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel and a Masonic Lodge member.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Sue Merrifield.
He is survived by five daughters, Pam Jackson, Kim Mattingly, Sandy Parrott, Tina Mayberry and Keri Luallen; three brothers; four sisters; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
A celebration of Bruces's life will be 2 p.m. on Thursday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home with interment at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
