Ruby Coleman

Ruby Coleman, age 85, of Fairborn, Ohio, ended her earthly journey Saturday afternoon, May 12, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. As she entered the Gates of Heaven to be with Jesus, she was met there by her husband; Rev William O. Coleman, her daughter, Karen Trader and her great granddaughter, Chelsea.

Born in Pikeville, Kentucky on February 12, 1927 to James Epperson and Roxie May, she married William Orville Coleman on January 5, 1947, who preceded her in death on November 29, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters (Lennie, Ida, Pluma and Maudie) and three brothers (Virgil, Reford and Deward).

A homemaker and a born- again Child of God, Ruby was a member of Believers’ Hope Church of God in Fairborn.

Surviving her are four daughters; Elizabeth (Roger) Boles, Teresa Terry, Sharon Lyon and Peggy Colley; and one son; William James (Donna) Coleman, (Carson) Trader, all reside in Fairborn; five brothers; Victor May, Allen Jay May, George (Flo) May, Leonard (Beatrice) May, all of the Pikeville, Kentucky area; Roger May of Arkansas; and one sister; Virgie Hall of Arkansas. Also surviving her are 12 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 step great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
