Roger Lawrence Murphy, age 83, of Sun Lakes, Arizona (formerly of Dayton) passed away on December 23, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 12, 1940, in Cincinnati to the late Edward Frances and Catherine Marie (nee: Brossart) Murphy.
Roger provided for his family by working for Wright Patterson Airforce Base as a computer programmer.
He is survived by his wife, Carole Beatty-Murphy (nee: Chesley); four children, Marybeth Cartmell (David); Jeff Murphy (Heather), Cathy Derrico, and Michael Murphy; five grandchildren, Kristy Acker (Timo), Jessica Cartmell, Quinn Murphy, Joey Derrico, and Lydia Derrico. He is also survived by two stepchildren, Steve Beatty and Meagan Kitchen (Josh); as well as two step grandsons, Grady and Blake.
