Our love to the family during this difficult time. Ashleigh, Donna, Courtney, Jordi and I were there at the homegoing services in spirit. We will will forever remember loving visits with Aunt Mary. She always had the mat of welcome for us when we were in the area especially when we lived in Ft, Wayne and Michigan. Jo Jo always tried to cook like her Aunt Mary-still working on it. In memory of Mrs. Russell  

There are many people who pass through our lives but not all of them bring a smile, no not a smile, but outright laughter when we think of them.  You were one of those persons.  I guess you were designed to bring Joy with a birthday on Christmas day.  I appreciate that as one of Vicki's friends you were always nice to me,  smiling, laughing and always had something good to eat at your house.  You were very expressive, opinionated and had a big personality.  Some of these traits your children have inherited but I won't say which ones (smile).  You always had your hair just so with just the right red  color.  I always thought you were the coolest mother around because you let Vicki have a car back in high school, which was not common at all back in those days.  I am so thankful that I was able to visit with you over the holidays.  We discussed how God knows  what is in our hearts.  I choose to believe that He not only knows what is in our hearts but knows the size of our hearts as well.  So with that said,  I would also say that God saw ALL the love you had for your family and others and knew that your heart was as big as could be.   I believe that we will see you again and until then we will continue to smile, better yet,  LAUGH, when we think of you.
