Leigh Anne (Davis) Hays, age 73 of Springfield, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center after complications from diabetes. She was born September 16, 1944 in Dayton, daughter of the late Arthur and Beth Anne (Barrows) Davis. She was baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist faith and a longtime member of the New Carlisle Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Leigh Anne is survived by her daughter Verna Napier and grandson Christopher Wheeler of Springfield; nephew Frank (Kelly Morrison) Davis of Beavercreek and niece Tara (Joe) Adrian of Las Cruces, NM; siblings, Teddy Brock of Dayton, Eve (Tom) Opdyke of Daphne, AL, Tony (Tammy) Stout of Stone Mountain, GA, and Carol Leicht of Cedar City, UT; devoted friends, Mildred Webb and family, Betty Morrow, and Diane Gladman, and several more caring nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Judy Gray, Darlene Walter and Janie Gray.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, OH with Pastor Dave Hutman officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
